How Melo AI collects, uses and protects personal data.
1. Data We Collect
- Order and prompt content, including occasion, names, stories, mood, genre and voice preferences.
- Telegram user ID or handle and any email you provide.
- Order ID, amount and confirmation that payment succeeded. We do not store full card or bank details.
- Basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Data
- To generate and deliver your track.
- To provide support and process refunds.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve Service quality.
3. Data About Other People
If your prompt contains information about another person, you confirm that you have a lawful basis to provide it. We use it only to create the requested song and operate the Service.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by an authorised third-party payment processor acting as Merchant of Record. Payment details are provided directly to that processor and are governed by its privacy terms. We receive transaction confirmation and related order information.
5. Service Providers
We share data only as needed with payment, AI and music-generation, Telegram, hosting and IT providers. We do not sell personal data.
6. International Transfers
The Service operates internationally, and data may be processed outside your country, including outside India. Appropriate safeguards are used where required.
7. Retention
Order and prompt data are retained only as long as needed for delivery, support, refunds, security, and legal or accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal data and withdraw consent. Contact support@ai-melo.bot. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Applicable Standards and Changes
We aim to comply with applicable privacy laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the GDPR where relevant. We may update this Policy and will publish the current version here.
